THE BUFFALO BILL ART SHOW AND SALE
Cody, WY  Sept 23-24, 2016

Michael won the highest award this year at the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale - the Spirit of the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale Award.  His painting "Turkey Hunter" (see below) was the winner.......

 

Exhibition and Sale To Benefit The C. M. Russell Museum
Great Falls, MT March 17 - 19, 2016

As a new member of the Russell Skull Society of Artists, Michael had two paintings in the Skull Society of Artist Suites this year.  The event was held at the Mansfield Convention Center in Great Falls, MT, March 17-19, 2016. He created a 16" x 12" painting for the benefit of the Museum at the "Art In Action" event Friday morning at the Meadowlark Country Club.  entitled "Buffalo Wind", it brought $5,000 at auction, with all of the proceeds going to the Museum.  His painting "COWBOY HEROICS AND A CHUCK WAGON CHASE" (see below" was auctioned off at the Saturday night live auction and brought $19,000, plus a 20% premium.  Many thanks to the buyer, and you know who you are!
