Cowboy Crossings

  • National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum 1700 NE 63rd Street Oklahoma City, OK 73111 (map)

The Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) are the vanguard of the Western art revival that began in the 1960s, and they continue to set the mark for those who carry on the legacy today. The CAA Mission is to authentically preserve and perpetuate the culture of Western life in fine art.

This year the Cowboy Artists of America celebrates its 53rd Annual Sale & Exhibition. Dedicated members, both active and emeritus, continue to fulfill objectives set forth by the founding members more than fifty years ago. Works in the exhibition perpetuate the memory and culture of the Old West as typified by the late Frederic Remington, Charles Russell, and others while insuring authentic representations of the life of the West, as it was and is today.

The public is invited to participate opening weekend October 4th-6th. No formal invitation is needed, but reservations are required for most opening weekend activities.

A member of the CAA since 2016, Michael will be attending with his wife Valerie, and will have several new paintings in the show.  The show is done in connection with the Traditional Cowboy  Arts Association and is always well attended by many of the best artists and collectors of western art.  A beautiful venue in a friendly and gracious town!
